This book is not for the beginning knitter. There are 15 beautiful shawls inside this book that will be treasured by the receiver. The pattern instructions are well written and the diagrams are clearly printed. For a seasoned knitter these shawls would be a breeze and the instructions would be easy to follow. For a beginner you will have a hard time following the directions or understanding the diagrams.
